Well, here I sit in the Gander Mountain parking lot, in the rain. I’m not waiting on the doors to open for a great sale, I’m waiting on a tow truck.
Last night just before I got home the alternator light came on. I work on Hondas, I’m pretty darn good at it, but the shop I work at is in Greensboro. The basic plan was to charge the battery overnight and leave for work as soon as it was light enough to not need headlights. With no lights and no air conditioning there should be enough juice to power the ignition for 25 miles and then some. Apparently the battery isn’t as fresh as I thought.
I wish Gander Mountain had rocking chairs like Cracker Barrel. It would be a nice morning to watch the rain.
